What do lobsters have to do with business. Nothing. Unless of course you are actually in a lobster business.
Here is what I mean.
In my field of direct sales, we talk a lot about fear. Fear often is the biggest thing that holds us back. It held me back in starting with Rodan + Fields and it actually held me back in succeeding as well.
It isn’t our knowledge of the product or a lack of understanding in how to run our company that keeps us from being successful. It is fear. Fear of failure. Fear of what people may think. Fear of the unknown. Fear of just simply reaching out to someone who intimidates us. Fear of taking the leap. The inability to get past that fear, to cast it off, keeps us from growing. And often is the reason we fail or maybe don’t even start!
So how does that relate to lobsters?
